The Lakers played the Rockets opening night it wasn't the type of game i wanted to see from the Lakers but i really shouldn't say anything it was only the first game of the season every team needs time to get used to all the players and play as a team the Lakers effort wasn't bad even though they lost the game the only thing that matters is they didn't give up they still tried. late in the game Kobe and Dwight got into it because Dwight got the rebound and he elbowed Kobe twice on the head and the face so after that him and Kobe were going back and forth exchanging words and when they showed Kobe you can see that he said "Try me" he was saying that to Dwight, for that little scuffle they got double technicals and Kobe got a personnel foul, In the 4th Quarter Rookie Forward Julius Randle fractured his right tibia it is sad that he got hurt because he got hurt in his first NBA game and it is sad news to hear that he is going to be out for the remainder of his rookie season.
Kobe Bryant going into his final year in his contract he was supposed to be a mentor to Julius Randle but Randle went down with a fractured tibia the reason Kobe wanted to be a mentor to Randle was because the Lakers are planning to make Randle the franchise player like Kobe, The upside of Kobe teaching Randle what he was able to before the injury is that when Randle is healthy to play next year and Kobe wont be there Randle could have the chance to shine and show what Kobe has taught him so I have a feeling that Randle will have a great season next year.
Kobe said he is struggling to stay patient with the Lakers because he said that he was passing to his team mates but they would fumble his passes and miss the lay ups when they did get the chance for a lay up, when Kobe was on the bench he was talking to Jeremy Lin saying that he has to run the offense the way that he is telling him and then he brought up an old team mate "saying that him and Derek Fisher used to bicker and snipe at each other all the time and that he couldn't love a team mate more," Kobe said that " these guys are young, man. it takes a little time to get used to that" that teams become really great by challenging each other."
