Kobe Bryant and the Lakers
played a game against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday they have 5 injured
players right now including Nick Young, Jeremy Lin and Ryan Kelly. Byron Scott
the new Lakers Head Coach said before the season started he was going to be
playing Kobe on limited minutes but since the team is having problems with
injuries again Kobe has been playing a lot the reason Byron Scott was saying
that he was going to have Kobe play limited minutes is because he is just
coming back from a couple injuries that took him out for the rest of the season
last year and the Lakers don’t want to risk Kobe hurting himself again I am
sure after all the other players are back and healthy Byron Scott will start
limiting his minutes.
Nick Young and Snoop Dogg were
recently going back and forth arguing on twitter because Snoop Dogg was making
fun of a picture of Iggy Azalea saying that she looks like Marlon Wayans when
he was playing in White Chicks because she posted a picture on twitter of her
without any make up on. After Snoop Dogg said that about Iggy she posted a pic
on twitter comparing him to a “drugged out” old women, Snoop Dogg fired back
with a video which he called Iggy a B*tch and a C**t and warned her n**ger to
keep her in check. Nick Young joined in on the fight and posted on twitter
saying ain’t nobody worried about no SnoopLion...This dude just going through a
midlife Crisis. He also added saying “ You go get convertible yet. OG’s out
here losing.” Young also added posting “ These old heads turning into
sucker’s.”
Kobe is heading into his 19th
season preparing to take the court with a los Angeles Lakers squad that may be
the most makeshift assemblage of talent he’s ever been struck with. ESPN does a
power ranking every year where they rank players and this year Kobe is ranked
40th best player in the NBA.
Steve Nash injured his back
Wednesday carrying bags forcing him to miss practice for the third straight day
the Lakers are questioning about the 40 year old’s availability this season
because he was plagued with injuries last year also he appeared in just 15
games for the Lakers he isn’t likely to play in the exhibition game Thursday
against the Utah Jazz the Lakers got Jeremy Lin this year they are leaning
towards putting him into the starting point guard position if Nash doesn’t feel
healthy in the next couple of weeks.
The Lakers always struggle
once it comes to picking a starting point guard but they say that Jeremy Lin is
a clear choice to start. Jeremy Lin is currently injured right now he sprained
both of his ankles not at the same time but he is hoping to be able to play on
Sunday against the Utah Jazz I think the Lakers should start Lin at Point Guard
because I think he could have a great season and show everybody that he could
be a big impact on the Lakers and play like he was when he was with the New
York Knicks when they were talking about him a lot on all the sports networks
time for a Linsanity come back????
Nick Young is needed pretty bad right now. Lakers need people to score and not just Kobe Bryant. Now that rookie Julius Randle is out for the rest of the season, Nick Young needs to recover fast and make a big impact on the scoring side. Lakers need a different team to back up Kobe. Too much injuries. Nash, Randle, and Young. Hopefully no one injured anymore. My opinion, Lakers are not a playoff team unless the make some trades when they can for some younger players.
ReplyDeleteI'm not so big on reading about basketball, but I loved the part about Nick Young and Snoop beefing on twitter. Hahaha, I heard about that on the news a while back. I couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably when I saw what Snoop said about Iggy. I'm sorry Nick, it was cruel but thats just comedy. I'm sorry your favorite team is getting injured so much too :/ Keep the good work up!
