There is a lot of news going
around with the Lakers right now. One of the things I have seen so far is that
it is possible for the Lakers to get either Eric Bledsoe or Dragic because the
Phoenix Suns don’t have enough money to keep both of the players, but the
Houston Rockets are also a possible team to get Dragic in the 2015 free agency.
Some more news on the Lakers is Tracy Mcgrady and Kobe Bryant did workouts over
the summer to see how Tracy would feel about a possible comeback season.
A couple of possible new
players the Lakers could sign include Michael Beasley and big man Dexter
Pittman although Michael Beasley has been to two workouts for the Lakers there
hasn’t been any agreements on a contract yet. With the Lakers signing 5 new
players all of them are great players yet everybody is doubting them saying
they are only going to win 30 games and aren’t going to make the playoffs. I
think they will make a good run and prove all the doubters wrong.
There is a lot of talk about
Kobe and how he will be this year because of his health and his age. There are
a lot of players saying that he is ready and that he will be good this year.
James Harden said that he and Kobe have been talking and Harden said that Kobe
is ready and that he looks like he is the 20-year-old Kobe. I think that Kobe
put a lot of work into getting prepared for this season. It should be a good
season for him.

Two injuries last season kept
him on the bench for the whole 2013-2014 season. At first it was his Achilles,
which he came back from. But then he injured his knee playing against the
Memphis Grizzlies, and that took him out for the rest of the season. Kobe
played 6 games the whole 2013-2014 NBA season. The Lakers didn’t want to let
him play because he is going into his last season on his contract. He said that
he is going to retire after his contract is up so they wanted to let him rest
until 2014-2015 season because they didn’t want to risk Kobe getting injured
again.
Kobe and the Lakers will be
the subject in a Show time documentary. It is set to air in November. The
trailer makes it look interesting, The title of the documentary is Muse. It will be covering the Lakers
forgettable 2013-2014 season (they won 22 games and lost 44). In the trailer Kobe
is saying, “ I’m not in this to do what’s normal. It’s a decision you’ve got to
make if you want to accomplish anything that’s significant and have a serious

and the Lakers are a great team. Everybody doubts them because of the season
they had the year before. I wouldn’t doubt them; they could come back and surprise
everybody and win more than 30 games and make the playoffs.
